The Starting guide explains the sequence of actions needed to start a new project.
According to it, first a resource must be allocated to project(s), which enables him to see all tasks.
Then specific tasks must be assigned to him.
But I have a doubt: If these actions are to be performed in that specific sequence, why is the left panel not designed accordingly?
The project allocation is in Environmental parameters > Allocation to projects menu.
The assignment of activities is in the Follow up > Planning menu.
Thus both action seem to be placed in unrelated and wrong place!
(PP=Project planning, PMC= Project Monitoring and control)

- Project allocation is not related to environment parameter
- Activity assignment is part of PP, not PMC
