Evolving of project expense management - by: jmmbb

Hello,

it will be great if we could use project expense to follow financial issues for project.

Planned and real date are not only what we need to follow project budget.

Here is my point of view, expect shared with most of expenses users :
- when we plan project, we need to plan also expenses. So whe need a planned date and a planned amount for each ORDER.
- in the life of project, these date and amount will changes (or not, if your a great project leader ) before you make the ORDER.
- we need to keep trace of these changes (to keep trace of project life), so real date for ORDER and real amount are needed to.
- So, we have only make an ORDER, but, in case of manpower purchasing, you can't expect all work made in one time, so, you need to keep trace of several real expense made (ie : I put a order for 100 days work, it cost 100 000 € for the next 4 months, but I really paid 25 000 € a month, so I need 4 payement terms - like in SectionExpenseDetail).

And, of course, I need to keep a look on my money through expense reports.

So, and last :

- Be able to record future expense with date and amount (planned) to build a budget.
- be able to keep trace of real date for ORDER and real amount (it will be great to estimate planning capability)
- be able to keep trace of multiple paiement (not only with a computed sum and last date, but all of them individualy)
- be able to report budget usage.
